Hurricane Ike currently a category 2 going towards Galveston, TX.
Galveston already flooded in most parts.

Sunday June 21, 2009, a group gathered in Galveston as thousands of people around the world celebrated, honored and blessed the water both inside and out. “Live H2o Houston, Concerts for the Living Water” was/is about celebrating and blessing our most precious liquid, water. This event was a global collaborative effort in the spirit of Dr. Emoto’s work (featured in the movie “The Secret”), who has scientifically proven that water can be positively charged with music and thought vibrations which produce healing effects. The idea behind the event was/is to raise the vibration of water to create peace, healing and prosperity in a world ripe with chaos.

Galveston hurricane 1900 evidence?
Supposedly..there is only 2 pieces of evidence or scenery left in the area to prove that the hurricane did exist (excluding text). Any takers?:)
Well, they built a seawall after that catastrophic hurricane (about 6000 ppl died) and you can still see the seawall. And the newspaper reports are believed to be reliable. The other evidence is that Houston is a city of 4M while Galveston is still a small city/large town– many businesses moved to Houston after the disaster and never came back. Others opted to set up in Houston and avoid Galveston.

What does it mean if I have 2 uppers on a carnival cruise?
Hello!
I am traveling with my husband and son on the Carnival Ecstasy on Monday. We were on the waitlist and ended up with two uppers. What does that mean? My Son will be in a crib. Will my husband and I get to sleep together? Thanks!!!!!!!
they’re bunk beds, so there’ll be four ’single’ beds in the cabin. The two upper beds can be pushed up to the wall and out of the way all together if not needed

Trying to decide between the carnival Conquest and The victory??? Which 1 is better and more fun?
Well the Conquest is the largest ship by about 100ft. Therefore it might have more to do. But it really depends on what departure port you want to leave out of and what your destination is. The victory leaves out of Puerto Rico, New York, Norfolk Va, Charleston Sc, and Miami Fl. And it’s destinations are the Caribbean, Canada, and the Bahamas. (I personally did not like the Bahamas.) The Conquest departs from Galveston, Tx. and its destination is the Caribbean. For more information check out carnival.com it will give ship dimensions and what is available while on board. I am looking for the title and author of a poem that contains the line "Voyager dauntless on Newton’s sea."
The poem also refers to the Irish mathematician William (Rowan) Hamilton and his thoughts on the square root of minus one.
It might be "Newton is my Deity" by Christopher Smart, I could only find one stanza though:
She heav’n-taught voyager, that sails in air,
Courts nor coy West nor East, but instant knows
What Newton, or not sought, or sought in vain.
