Carnival cruise question…..?

I am going on the Carnival Ecstasy in a week. I cruised on the Carnival Conquest last year. I know that the Ecstasy is a lot smaller then the Conquest and I am worried that it won’t be as much fun. The Conquest holds about 1,000 more people then the Ecstasy. I am 17 and there were soooo many teens on my last cruise to dance with and hang out with so it was a ton of fun. I am wondering if this cruise is still going to have a lot of teens on it or barely any teens my age since the ship is a lot smaller. I think I have such high expectations from my cruise on the Conquest that I think I will be upset with this cruise. I just want there to be a lot of teens to hang out with but I have a feeling there will be barely any. Do you think there will still be a lot of teens my age?? And do you think I will have as much fun as I did on my last cruise??

Well, since it is in the summer I bet that there will be tons of teens, I mean, there are 1,000 fewer people but the ship is likely almost fully booked because it is a popular month. I’m sure you will have a good time, but the other posters are right, it is due for a remodel!!

    good grief! You get to go on a cruise and your happiness depends only on the number of teens on board?? I’m sure there will be plenty of other teens but if there aren’t why let it ruin the fact that you are enjoying something only a privileged few can do? Bring a good book, a swim suit and suntan lotion.

    We have sailed both the Conquest and Ecstasy at least twice.

    There were tons of teens on both ships.

    Everything is smaller on the Ecstasy but she is an OK ship.

    She has not yet been to dry dock for her upgrade.

    The Ecstacy, is a lot smaller and older ship. There is alot of upgrades that are needing to be done, and she will soon face dry dock which is good. On the other hand the Conquest (which I just got off of) is bigger, newer, and has been in dry dock, last month for refurbishments. So of course, the Conquest is nicer, and all that, but there are going to be plenty of teens on both..! But, you should’ve gone on the Conquest!

    I am sure there will still be plenty of teens on-board! You don’t have anything to worry about! There are ALWAYS teens on board! have fun & stop stressing! :)
