What does it mean if I have 2 uppers on a carnival cruise?

Hello!
I am traveling with my husband and son on the Carnival Ecstasy on Monday. We were on the waitlist and ended up with two uppers. What does that mean? My Son will be in a crib. Will my husband and I get to sleep together? Thanks!!!!!!!

they’re bunk beds, so there’ll be four ‘single’ beds in the cabin. The two upper beds can be pushed up to the wall and out of the way all together if not needed

upper bed means that you have a pullman bead near the roof with a ladder to climb to get to it. If you dont use it they will be stored against the wall so thats no problem. There will ofc be normal beds to so you and your husband can sleep together I think (some boats have the two lower beds against each wall to but I dont think thats the case in cruise liners). The major risk for a younger to sleep "upstairs" is the risk of falling out of the bed. Johan
