does anyone know what the color of water is at mustang island, tx is it the same as galveston, tx?

If you are looking for blue water and white sands you need to get away from Texas. We do not have the geological conditions it takes for blue water and white sand.

    Yes, it is pretty much the same. If you want white sand and clear, blue water, you have to go to South Padre Island.

    Yes, been there recently. Still brown.

    You can try the far side of Pelican Island, just north of Galveston…it's been a while since I've been there, but it used to be blue on one side…
