Is Galveston Island, TX a good Spring Break destination for college students looking to party?

My and my friends were thinking about going to Galveston for spring break this year, is it worth it?
are there known to be a lot of college students here like other destinations? Or should we just go to Padre?

Drive on down to South Padre, it is much better than Galveston.

    just go to Padre… it gets way crazier there
