Beach house or park wedding in Galveston?

We are looking to have our wedding in Galveston. I know a beach house would be ideal to have the cerimony by the water and the reception at the main house, outside. Here's the issue… i know that most places won't allow weddings. Do you know of any place that does?

Also we like Fort Travis park, do you know if they offer a rental of the park. Also will they allow wine to be served if they do.

Any help works… we do not want moody gardens or anything indoors or at a hotel.

    I would just contact the park and see what they say.

    If your renting the house you should be able to do whatever you want at it as long as you dont trash the place. Just ask them when you go to look at the properties. You can also look at Crystal Beach.

    My brother and his wife got married at a little bed and breakfast place in Galveston. They have a garden in the back that is beautiful. It is intended for a small wedding (I believe we had around 30 people there). I'm not sure if they offer receptions afterwards because we ended up going somewhere else for that. I hope that helps!
