Galveston Vacation. I am considering The Galvestonian Condo or Moody Gardens. Which would you stay at?

Posted on January 17th, 2009 by admin in Moody Gardens

I like the Galvestonian Condo, the location is nice right on the beach. Has anyone stayed here? They say the beach/sand is cleaner in this area, is this true?

I'd like to mount a campaign to encourage people not to go anywhere. Travel has become so expensive and unpleasant that it's hard to understand why people don't stay home.
Why are we crowding our highways and airports to get someplace else? Newspapers and magazines are filled with ads trying to get us to travel. They want us to go somewhere – anywhere but home.

The Galvestonian Condo is a lovely condo. Every unit has one or two balconies facing out to the gulf. There is no bad view. The garden is lovely. The condos are fully equiped with anything you need for a weekend or week or full month vacation. The winter rates are still in effect, I think. The beach is practically vacant because of the distance from Stewart Beach and beach goers have to walk from there to get down to the Galvestonian beach. I think you will love it there.

I have first hand knowledge of the condominium because I have visited there many times.
