8.5.2011-Palm Beach, Moody Gardens Fireworks

After getting back from MD Anderson Cancer Center today, had a WONDERFUL time at Palm Beach, Moody Gardens tonight with my mom. Gotta love living on Galveston Island! Listened to the band “Hanna’s Reef”, and made up for missing the 4th of July fireworks while in the hospital. Nice feeling like a normal person for just a little while!

Moody Gardens Rainforest Pyramid Adventure

On our way to the beach my family stopped at Moody Gardens in Galveston Texas. I had a great time. The Rainforest Pyramid made it seem like I was actually walking through the Rainforest! I will never forget the memories that were created in the Amazing Rainforest Pyramid.

The Rainforest Pyramid at Moody Gardens is currently closed for the final stage of a $25 million enhancement project! It will reopen in May 2011 when you can be among the first to explore this exciting, redesigned attraction along with animals, fish, butterflies and more than 1,000 species of exotic plants from rainforests around the world.
