AirTran 717 takes off from Houston

ABD’de inişe geçen uçak alev aldı

ABD’nin Houston kentinde piste inmek üzereyken lastiği alev alan uçaktaki yolcular acil çıkış kapılarından tahliye edildi.

Southwest Airlines firmasından yapılan açıklamada, New Orleans’tan kalkan ve Houston Hobby Havaalanı’na inmeye hazırlanan uçağın lastiğinin alev aldığı, buna rağmen pilotun uçağı indirmeyi başardığı, olayda ölen ya da yaralanan olmadığı belirtildi.

Lastiğin patladıktan sonra alev aldığını belirten yetkililer, yangının söndürüldüğünü, yolcu ve mürettebatın ise acil durumlarda kullanılan kaydıraklarla tahliye edildiğini bildirdi.

Flying With Southwest Airlines – HD

Logan and I travel through Dallas to Houston. I realize I broke the rules when I had my electronic device (camera) turned on during the takeoffs and landings, but as you can see, no harm done.
