Hurricane IKe Huge Apartment Fire in Galveston, Texas STOCK
This is extended stock footage of the an apartment complex fire the day after Hurricane Ike hit. Quite a few units of the complex burned out as firefighters were unable to combat the blaze due to water being turned off and high winds, as well as blocked streets. This was picked up by CBS and AP. Hurricane winds were sustained around 40mph with higher gusts at this time.

Hurricane Ike Yacht Facility Fire in Galveston, Texas STOCK
This is an extended stock footage version of the ENG package sent out to media outlets of the Galveston Yacht facility that was the first major fire of Hurricane Ike. This was picked up by CBS and AP. Hurricane winds were sustained around 40mph with higher gusts at this time.
Shows more stages of the fire and the downwind smoke as well as the fire vehicles arriving on scene.
Firefighters were unable to get access to fight the blaze as storm surge waters had already surrounded the facility.

This is an ENG package sent out to media outlets of the debris shot the morning after Hurricane Ike made landfall in Galveston, Texas.
Incredible piles of debris were on Seawall Blvd in Galveston from various pier buildings that were either completely destroyed or very heavily damaged.
