i went to go plane spotting at Bush Intercontinental. of course with my luck, my battery died very quick. and things got even better when a 747 landed right there 2 planes later. thats a way to get frustrated quickly!

I don’t suppose this could make up for having a guys night the night before that required me to miss Amtrak that night, could it? In fact, it was perhaps a great consolation for me because unknown to me until that night was that my girlfriend was to be flown in as a surprise. Due to a delay, she couldn’t make it down until this particular morning.

IAH Tour of Houston Intercontinental Airport on Continental
This was taken after we landed at Houston Intercontinental on Continental Airlines 737-300. We are taxing at a pretty good clip. Hell, this plane is moving!! At the start of the video we are leaving Terminal B (ExpressJets) and heading over to terminal C the brown building with Continental Aircraft. (This is after we landed to see more of terminal B and Terminal A and the landing look at the video of CO 737-300 landing at IAH). Then when we pass Terminal D which is the white building with a CO 777 parked at one of the gates. You will also see a British Airways 777 at one of the gates. Looks like we slowed down for a bit and then pick back up speed. Next we pass the new International Terminal Complex followed by Terminal E where we park.

IAH Continental Airlines 737-300 Landing Houston Boeing
A Continental Airlines 737-300 landing at Houston Intercontinental Airport. Right before landing there is a mall with a Dillard’s in it. After landing we taxi at a good clip pass terminal A and then pass all the Continental ExpressJets at Terminal B. Landing at Tokyo Narita Airport
Continental Flight 7 from Houston Bush to Tokyo Narita
(around 3:30 pm, Sun. Jan. 3, 2010) –
an approximate 13 1/2 hour non-stop flight -
The beautiful rural countryside on the flight approach is in Chiba Prefecture, which is also where Narita Airport is located, and about an hour express train ride to central Tokyo
