After getting back from MD Anderson Cancer Center today, had a WONDERFUL time at Palm Beach, Moody Gardens tonight with my mom. Gotta love living on Galveston Island! Listened to the band “Hanna’s Reef”, and made up for missing the 4th of July fireworks while in the hospital. Nice feeling like a normal person for just a little while!

Galveston Residents Return to Shattered Island
It was homecoming for residents of Galveston Island, made homeless since Hurricane Ike roared ashore. They returned to a shattered island, with city officials wanting residents to check in on their property then leave again. (Sept. 24)

Moody Gardens Rainforest Pyramid Adventure
On our way to the beach my family stopped at Moody Gardens in Galveston Texas. I had a great time. The Rainforest Pyramid made it seem like I was actually walking through the Rainforest! I will never forget the memories that were created in the Amazing Rainforest Pyramid.
