My heart goes out …
My heart goes out to those recently allowed to return to view the remains of their lives. Where is the news coverage saturation of this major event like we witnessed in Katrina? Where is Geraldo and Shep Smith? Are our Texas icons going to step up and bestow their beneficence on these shattered communities? I pray for the needy, the infirm, and the aged who have lost everything. And I condemn the vultures who will come swooping in to make a fast buck on the travails of the unfortunate.
