My aunt who has heart problems is stuck in Galveston after hurricane Ike. How can I get her transport via EMS?

Posted on June 26th, 2009 by admin in Uncategorized

My aunt who has congestive heart failure and other cardiac problems is unable to travel long distances due to her health problems. I live in Dallas and want to get her transported up here but need to know how I can get her some medical assistance to get her up here. Please help! I open to any suggestions or directions on who to call or contact.

I would call the Galveston police station and tell them your situation or the Red Cross?

here's the Police stations # (409) 766-2100 good luck

red cross #'s
Orange TX (409) 883-2322
Baumont TX (409) 832-1644
I live in Mississippi and when Hurricane Katrina hit, the military landed in a helicopter and helped my father who was on oxygen and had ran out.

Try calling 911 and see if they can help. I know phones are down there. I have been trying to call some friends. Good Luck..
