To those in Galveston- where does the ship Elissa go in a hurricane

She started my love of tall ships… with the next tropical storm/possible hurricane headed towardsGalveston, where does she go?

Hey Brigantine =)
Are you a Jersey girl? I don’t think Elissa went anywhere for this current tropical storm, "Edouard." However, she is kept in tip/top shape as she is the pride of Galveston island and still sails quite nicely. If it appears that an approaching storm could cause substantial damage, I’m sure she would sail to any other port on the east Texas coast to wait it out until she can sail home – maybe Corpus Christi.
